January Reflection

January has been the longest month.. like EVER, so I'm really not sad about going into February at all. I'm also dying to see the appearance of sunlight again, as its been one of those months that is constantly grey and freezing cold outside, which, in turn, makes me the most lazy and unmotivated person in the entire universe, as the dark evenings make me want to do nothing more than curl up in a ball and go to sleep. So, as you can imagine, I got very minimal work done this month, which has been stressful to say the least. Luckily, binge watching Friends from start to end since it was put on Netflix at the start of January (finally!) has helped me through. 
 Another thing I did in January was be/try to be more productive. I know its a generic thing to say at the start of month like "I'm gonna be SOOO healthy and go the gym every day!!' but obviously I never stick to it. However, recently I have been trying to make an attempt by doing a 15-20 minute workout on a Saturday morning and trying to eat a bit healthier, since lately my diet mainly consists of a giant bag of Doritos (my 'snack') and lots of pasta (give me all the carbs any day!). I have to admit though, having a workout and then taking a hot shower after on a Saturday morning actually feels SO good, and really gets you ready and motivated for the day, so I've been trying to keep it up in January, and I'm gonna try to carry on it in February as much as I can too. 

Last month, I also decided to treat myself a bit more, as one of my New Years resolutions was to actually take care of myself and not forget to give myself a treat after hard work. So of course I didn't hesitate to treat myself in the form of clothes when the January sales rolled around, and new stationary to see me through the year.. (I mean who can say no to the cutest pastel pink stationary though?!). 
Okay, so now lets talk goals for Feb. I always like to set myself a bunch of goals going into a new month, as its like a fresh start and a great opportunity to improve yourself for the better. So that being said, my first goal is to improve my blog in the way I want it to be, and I feel like February is the perfect month to do that, as I have a lot more free time on my hands, since I'm not constantly revising or doing exams like I did last month.I also want to improve my photography on both my blog and social medias, since I'm still not 100 percent happy with how my Insta looks at the minute, so I'm looking to improve it majorly this month. (BTW, if you're not already following me on Insta its @rosiejessxo 😉) Also, let me know if you would like to see a regular one of these reflection posts at the beginning/end of each month, as I've really enjoyed writing it and looking back :) While I'm on the topic, I'd also love to know some ideas of content you would like to see from me in this month! I've got a few good ideas already that I'm super excited about, but I'd love some inspo too.
