Hey guys! Its finally October, my fave month! I can't believe how fast September has gone, last month was such a hectic one for me. Let me know in the comments what you got up to last month! Anyway, today I thought I'd show you guys what I've been loving in the month of September. Hope you enjoy :)
So I'm gonna start with the biggest thing you can see in the pics, which is the gorgeous backpack from Primark. I'm absolutely head over heels in love with this bag, cos its so perfect for this season and the perfect size. I particularly love the mustard tassel and rose keyring it has on the front, as it gives the bag that Autumal vibe. I initially bought this for a trip to Berlin I'm going on at the end of this month (blog post coming soon!) but I decided to use it for the weekends too, cos it's just too pretty to not use! And believe it or not, this bag was only £10, what a total bargain!
The next thing I had to talk about in my faves, is the Garnier shampoo & conditioner, especially the coconut oil and cocoa butter scent. This stuff is a miracle for my hair. I often suffer with awful frizzy and dry hair as my hair is super thick, but this shampoo makes it really soft and smooth, getting rid of any dryness or frizziness. Not to mention it smells divine as well! I would definitely recommend checking out the Garnier Ultimate Blends range- you can find it in any boots or superdrug: http://www.boots.com/garnier/garnier-ultimate-blends
Recently I've been seeing a lot of hype over the facial cleansing brushes, so in September I decided to see what all the fuss was about and popped into my local Boots to pick one up. The one I have is by No7 for £25 (which I don't thinks bad at all!) and I got it in a 3 for 2 offer, which was great. So I've been trying out the cleansing brush with my normal face wash for a good month now, and I'm happy to say that I approve! What I love about these brushes is that you're face feels so much more clean and fresh than if you just used your hands to wash your face, as its a lot more thorough and gets every bit of your face. For someone who's suffered with acne for years too, this brush is amazing as it makes sure there's no remains of makeup on your face which gets rid of excess oil that clogs your pores. So all in all, I would highly recommend, and I will continue using mine through October too!
Lastly, some makeup items I been loving. The first one I want to talk about is this gorgeous YSL palette that my mum got for me from duty free. It's called the 'Complete Make-Up Palette', and includes 4 eye shadows, 2 solid lip colours, and blusher. Unfortunately, I think this palette is exclusive to duty free, but I will link it if I can find something similar. This palette is literally a whole look in one, its pretty genius if you ask me. I love the pigment of the eye shadows too, and the blush and lip colours are gorgeous. I've found that I've been reaching for this palette a lot more because of its convenience, and it would be great for travel too.
I've also been loving the L'Oreal Infalliable Total Cover foundation, and the Zoeva Face Shape Brush to blend it. First let's talk about the foundation. Not only does this foundation not budge throughout the day, but its the most high coverage foundation I have ever used. It literally covers EVERYTHING. The slight only down side I have about this foundation is that as soon as you put on your face or the back of your hand, it dries down super quick so you have to be quick when blending! Talking about blending, I've been loving this Zoeva 110 'Face Shape' Brush, as the bristles are super soft and the size is perfect for blending out concealer. It's a super quick and convenient brush, and gives a flawless finish.
So there you have it, my September faves. Sorry for this super long rambley post, I just had a lot to say haha! Let me know what you've been loving last month in the comments, and if you wanna see a post talking more about the No7 facial brush? Hope you're having a lovely weekend too!
Love, Jess x
